Steps To Take in Opening a Blog

Navigate to www.blogger.com on my browser URL tab. Then this opens a page which shows a login form and a link to sign up (Register), after i signed up using my Gmail account, this took me to another page where i had to enter your display names to be used to sign in to your blog posts then i Clicked “Create Your Blog Now”.

Selecting a “Blog title” and an available URL for my blog. I had to check if the URL I was considering is available by clicking "Check Availability" then enter the word verification, i clicked on continue. This gave the option that the name I initially thought of was not available as it had been used by another blogger so I decided to use my name and surname as the blog title and I was showed that that was available.

Then I chose a starter template, which will act as the basic design/layout of my blog.

I discovered I could change the design of my blog from the starter template i selected when initially creating my blog, i was able to do so under the “Design” tab.

Posting my First blog post

The title of my 

post goes in the text box next to “Title”.

The body of my post  was typed into the “Compose” text editor, where I was  be able to access basic text editor functions such as font size, text color, the ability to insert links.

The “Post Options” section located underneath the “Compose” text editor allowed me to enable reader comments, and post the time and date.

I then clicked on “Preview” to preview my post before publishing to my blog to ensure there were no errors.

Lastly I clicked on “Publish Post” to publish my post directly to my newly created blog.

Then I edit the settings such that when people post comments, I do not have to approve it before it is published.

Blogging is a super magical feeling with the high sense o feeling of letting out my voice and opinion to the public. Reading comments written by people is also a fantastic one and seeing the diverse way people interpret things to suit themselves.
